Jackson

Three years ago I was blessed with one of the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, most loving and patient dog. I picked him up from the Richmond City Pound when he was six months old and he has been a special friend to me since. However, life took some very drastic changes over the past year and I have done my best to provide a good home for him. I have tried to make this work and realize that my schedule is not fair to him.
Jackson is a 3 year old lab mix that I really need to find another loving home for. He is patient, docile, obedient and kind. He loves kids, cats and dogs, but is a little timid around dogs bigger than him. He is house and crate trained, doesn’t jump and obeys boundaries. He is up to date on all of his shots and been on flea, tick and heartworm medicine the entire time I have owned him. Everyone who meets Jackson loves him. His favorite activity is to curl up next to you on the couch. He would be great in a family or with an elderly person that needs a companion. If you are interested please contact Jaime on my cell at (360)798-5818.
Clint
Clint is one year old and full of energy. He has been crated or on leash most of his life so he is "turning it on" now! He loves to run and play with other dogs and he loves the water. He weighs in at 70 pounds now but will probably weigh more when he "grows into his head". He has been neutered, is negative for heartworms, is up to date on shots and microchipped. He is crate trained but is not crazy about being crated since he just wants to play, play, play. I don't know about house training since he is housed in our finished garage with a dog door. But he does not foul the garage. Clint will require an adopter that is able to handle a sweet but strong and energetic dog. Fenced yard is a must. A detailed application, adoption contract and a $250 adoption fee are required. He is located in Richmond,VA. Further info can be obtained by calling Lynda Plummer at 804-837-1016.
Natasha
Is 4 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. She is an amazing dog and wants to love and be loved. She was initially left behind in Atlanta with another dog when a family decided to move out of the country. They were going to take the dogs to the pound and have them killed but a friend of mine begged them not to and we took care of them at the abandoned house until we found them both homes. Natasha found a home through a friend of a friend in Reston , Virginia and she has been there since October. She appeared to be housebroken in Atlanta and I believe she could be again with some reinforcement, carpet training and crate training. She is incredibly loving and very intelligent. I think she would also benefit from some leash training as she has only ever been walked on a leash during the past 6+ months and loves to chase a squirrel if given the chance. She gets along well with other dogs and loves children of all ages. Her current owner has two small grandchildren that she spends time with daily and she spent a fair amount of time around my son when he was 2-3 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her shots, heartworm negative and is on preventative. Her current owner has taken wonderful care of her and is willing to help get her to a rescue that can help her find a family more suited to her. We would like for her to be an indoor dog. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or you would like to meet her. amyk@creative-stone.net Amy at 404-314-1811
Amos
Friendly, healthy, well-mannered, well-trained adult black lab mix named Amos seeks home to enjoy his golden years. His family is moving and cannot take him. He is fine with children and some dogs, but does not do well with cats. Amos loves walks, car rides, and spending time with people. He learns quickly and loves to please. His veterinary records are available, but his age is unknown. We think he is about 9 years old. If interested, please email Emily or call 540-967-4670.

Maggie Needs a Good Home
My family and I have a 7 year old lab/shepherd mix named Maggie. She is the sweetest dog you’ll ever come across, however, with my wife and I having 6 kids (including new born twins) we just don’t have the time or space for poor Maggie. She has an excitable personality, she is currently residing in the back yard. She’s not going to be happy back there and we’re not going to be happy knowing that. We just want to find a good home for Maggie where she can be with a patient loving family. 804-852-8497
